Special Terms and Conditions
The following apply to LTE and 5G Uncapped & Capped packages
Downgrades of Telkom LTE package is subject to an administration fee, currently R404.00 excluding VAT.
Rollover on Any-Time data until the end of the following month – Sim Only.
Fair Usage Policy on Inclusive Data:
- Uncapped LTE Business Hours – First 350GB data at up to 10Mbps, thereafter 50GB data at up to 4Mbps. Therafter uncapped data at up to 2Mbps for the remainder of the month.
- Uncapped LTE All Hours 10Mbps – First 500GB data at up to 10Mbps, thereafter 50GB data at up to 4Mbps. Therafter uncapped data at up to 2Mbps for the remainder of the month.
- Uncapped LTE All Hours 20Mbps – First 600GB data at up to 20Mbps, thereafter 50GB data at up to 4Mbps. Therafter uncapped data at up to 2Mbps for the remainder of the month.
- The Service will only function when the SIM Card is used in an MTN approved category 6 (Cat 6) Router.
- Should the SIM Card be inserted into any device or Router that is not approved, the SIM Card will be soft-locked and disconnected from the MTN network.
- The Fixed LTE-A SIM Card will be locked to the cellular towers surrounding the location used when subscribing for the Service.
- Should a Customer move the SIM Card to a different geographic location, the SIM Card will be soft-locked and disconnected from the MTN network. In such event, the Customer will need to contact the Vox Technical Service Centre to request that the SIM Card be unlocked.

Yes, on the 1st of every month this is what you will receive for the following Telkom Uncapped:
- Uncapped Business – 350GB up to 10Mbps, thereafter 50GB up to 4Mbps and thereafter uncapped up to 2Mbps
- Uncapped All Hours (10Mbps) – 500GB up to 10Mbps, thereafter 50GB up to 4Mbps and thereafter uncapped up to 2Mbps
- Uncapped All Hours (20Mbps) – 600GB up to 20Mbps, thereafter 50GB up to 4Mbps and thereafter uncapped up to 2Mbps
Yes, you will be billed pro rata for the month of activation.
FUP means Fair Usage Policy, this is implemented to prevent overuse or abuse of services by a few users, which could lead to unavailability of services for other users.
Yes:
- Capped packages can be topped up once data is depleted.
- Uncapped All-hour packages can be topped up to improve speed.
- Uncapped Business packages can be topped up to provide service between 7pm – 11.59pm
- 12.5GB @ R109 (12.5GB Anytime + 12.5GB Night Surfer) which works out to R4.36/GB

An upgrade is when you purchase a package of a higher base subscription.
