Patients often face high out-of-pocket costs for treatment and medication once their medical savings have been depleted. Ava Limited gives you access to six Vital Facial scans and six virtual consultations with a doctor per subscription, lowering the risk of financial hardship or medical debt.
With Ava Limited, patients can scan their Stress Level, Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Respiratory Rate and Oxygen Saturation percentage on their smartphone, driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
If a doctor is required, the patient can make a virtual appointment with a doctor using the AVA app. A remote consultation and a script and/or sick note are provided via email. Unlimited dependants are allowed on each portfolio and top-up options are available once the allocated scans and consultations have been used.

Unlimited dependents can be added at any time and the account holder has the ability to to edit or deactivate them. Dependents cannot be deleted. Their medical history, which is linked to their ID number, will remain on the portal. If a beneficiary is reactivated, all their history will still be available and linked to the user’s ID.
All doctors are registered with the Health Professional Council of South Africa and are qualified in virtual consultations.
Consultation, script for medication, and /or sick notes were emailed to the patient.
